Norman R. Alexander Jr. 81, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2023. He was the loving husband of 57 years to Nancy (Horton) Alexander. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Norman and Margaret (Hanley) Alexander. Besides his wife Rich was survived by his loving children, Margaret Alexander and John Alexander, and his wife Lynnet. Also, a sister, Elaine and her husband Thomas Wilson.
Rich received both his Bachelor of Science and Master's in Business Administration from Bryant College. He later served in the Air Force. He worked as a Data Processing manager and ran N.R. Alexander Associates.
Rich was a lifetime boater, sailing on Narragansett Bay. He later enjoyed traveling in his RV and spending winters in Florida.
His funeral will be held on Friday March 3, 2023, with a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in the Carpenter Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Visitation will be Thursday March 2, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
