Everett L. Almstrom, 84, of Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. He was the husband of Patricia (Cirelli) Almstrom for 62 years.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Carl Almstrom and Angelina (Souza) Almstrom. He had been employed at Electric Boat Quonset for over 10 years and the Marriott Hotel until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fatima Council, and enjoyed bowling, golf, and woodworking.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Sandra DeLuise (husband Brian); Kristine Cummiskey (husband Darrin) and Sherry Longtin (husband Paul) all of Warwick, as well as five grandchildren, Tanya DeLuise, Dylan Cummiskey, Brandon Longtin, Evan Cummiskey and Jacob Longtin. Everett also leaves two sisters, Linda Martino and Lorraine Kelly, a brother, Kenneth Almstrom, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral was held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from Barrett and Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, RI Burial, with military honors, was at Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, Warwick, RI.
