To the Editor:
Recent acquisition of the total Rocky Point property is an environmental blessing for the entire state of Rhode Island. The beauty of this portion of our shoreline is now preserved for all generations in the future.
To those who worked so diligently to make it happen – Mayor Scott Avedisian, George Shuster, John Howell, Mark Garrison and all members of the Rocky Point Foundation, Janet Coit and the DEM, and our elected officials – a huge THANK YOU from those who will enjoy Rocky Point soon and forever.

CLYDE, By the time the bonds are paid off, if ever, the above people will all be dead and Rhode Island will be part of MA or CT annexed by Washington for being financially incompetent and incapable of managing their finances. By the way, good luck with your new property revaluation as comps slip further down about 10% and more homes are headed underwater. HAPPY MOTORING!
