To the Editor:
Prison Director A.T. Wall has announced his retirement date as early in 2018. He did a lot of good, I wish him well.
I also wish that the governor would appoint from within the A.C.I. because those hundreds of A.C.I. staffers should have the right to prove that they deserve to rise to the highest level of authority out there as part of their decades of public service, and they would be insulted at anything else, so let’s keep our state employees happy and comfortable to avoid tensions and union strikes, etc.
