Apponaug hosted the annual ASA Ocean State Invitational this past weekend, with two of its teams winning championships in the final tournament of the season. The Apponaug Pride 8U travel team won the title Sunday by defeating the North Smithfield Storm 5-3. The 16U Pride Gold team also took first place. Above, the 8U team poses.
