Oakland Beach School was transformed into a showcase for arts and literacy night Wednesday with corridors serving as galleries for displays of written and drawn works. It was also an active event where students performed and participated in crafts and, coolest of all, created drawings in a black room under the rays of ultraviolet lights. A book sale was held in the school gym.
