The Warwick Beacon’s Athlete of the Week is Toll Gate basketball player Adeline Areson. The senior standout has enjoyed a monster comeback campaign this winter and recently put up 30 points in the team’s win over Lincoln, then another 17 points and 10 rebounds against rival Pilgrim on Monday night. Areson was also named a finalist for Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Basketball Courage Award, which recognizes players that show courage on the court and off.
