The Warwick Beacon’s Athlete of the Week is Pilgrim girls basketball player Gianna Ramos. Ramos delivered one of her career best performances in a huge showdown on Tuesday night against rival Toll Gate. With their undefeated record as well as first place in Division III on the line, Ramos and the Patriots rolled to the 46-28 victory on the road. Ramos, a senior, was a force throughout the contest and scored 16 points on offense while leading the team in rebounds.
