Arthur H. Bentley 71, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 12, 2023. He was the loving husband of Wendy (Miller) Bentley, they had been together for 54 years, married for almost 50. Born in North Kingstown, RI, he was the son of the late Arthur and Wilma (Hughes) Bentley.
After graduating from Bryant College, Arthur worked as a salesman for several companies in the Printing and Manufacturing Industry before his retirement.
Arthur loved driving, golfing, fishing and playing in a weekly card game with his friends. He was a kind and generous person, always willing to help everyone. He kept his sense of humor throughout his entire life and would make it his mission to make others laugh either with a joke or a witty comment. Arthur loved to travel, especially in the mountains of New Hampshire. He loved to watch Cowboy movies as well as the Patriots. Arthur was the person you always went to for directions. He knew every backroad and short cut in the entire state, as well as several others.
Arthur was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, who loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever ingrained in all he knew.
Besides his wife, Arthur was the loving father of Jeffrey (Betsy), Adam (Alicia), Andrew, and Sarah (Joe) Pascone. He was the adoring Grandpa of Molly Bentley, Abigail Bentley, Riley Bentley, Angelina Bentley, Jada Bentley, Brayden Bentley, Colton Bentley, Isabella Bentley, and Emma Pascone. He was the brother of Barbara Donnelly.
