To the Editor:
In all the bad press being given against the VA hospitals, I felt compelled to write. The Providence Rhode Island Veterans facility has given me the best care. It begins with the valet parkers, who are pleasant and efficient. The women who check me in are courteous and efficient. My personal doctor, Gary Plotkin, makes sure I have whatever is needed to insure I receive any and all services for my many health issues. Appointments are set up with no waiting, and if another specialist is needed, that is arranged. Follow-up letters are sent speedily by mail and all arranged for me. Dr. Plotkin has been available every time I was in need.
Dermatology doctors and Dr. John Sellechio, my eye doctor, provides the same service and courtesy. The pharmacy is a pleasure to deal with and is always efficient.
