Beverly May Duffy, 86, of East Greenwich, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard H. Duffy, Sr.
Born in Providence, she was the loving daughter of the late Daniel G. and Hazel (Craven) O’Brien.
Beverly was employed as a Customer Service Representative for the former RI Hospital Trust. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and taking retail adventures.
She is survived by her beloved children: Kathy Jean Anderson (H. Carl) of Mystic, Ct, Leonard H. Duffy, Jr. (Sandra) of Coventry and Cynthia A. Raposa of East Greenwich; a sister: Marilyn Stokes of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; six cherished grandchildren: Eric D. Anderson, Krista M. Verno, April E. Duffy, Michael A. Raposa, Jr., Daniel J. Raposa and Bethany L. Raposa; seven great-grandchildren and her feline companion: “Molly.” Beverly was the loving mother-in-law of the late Michael Raposa, Sr.
Due to the current gathering restrictions, all services are private. Burial will take place in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery.
