A Warwick woman said she uses her siblings’ birth dates as the numbers she plays on her PowerBall tickets. Those numbers brought some luck on March 7, resulting in a $10,000 win after she matched four numbers and the PowerBall number.
The winner said she plans to use the money to help family and will give each of her eight nieces and nephews money for their homes. She did not purchase the Power Play feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If she had opted for Power Play, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by four, Saturday’s Power Play number, to equal $40,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Marty’s Liquor, 945 Namquid Dr., Warwick.
