Price Rite Marketplace has announced plans to unveil fresh new looks and shopping experiences with grand re-openings at Price Rite Marketplace stores in Cranston, Johnston, Pawtucket, Providence, Warwick and Woonsocket. The supermarket is continuing to roll out its award-winning redesigned store concept focused on deep discounts and fresh foods after successful store rebrands in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Pennsylvania locations.

Price Rite Marketplace kicked off its rebranding campaign in fall 2018 with three stores in Pennsylvania, followed by 50 additional rebrands in 2019 and 2020 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Maryland. The changes attracted new customers, generated industry buzz and won a National Grocers Association Creative Choice Award for outstanding marketing and merchandising in the supermarket industry.

Customers who visit these stores will find bright, revitalized décor, including market-style produce departments brimming with fresh fruit, vegetables and organics. Each store will also include the new ‘Drop Zone’ stocked with special surprise buys on must-have grocery and private label items, and lower prices that extend across hundreds of products.

To mark the latest grand re-openings, Price Rite Marketplace is hosting community celebrations on February 28

with music, free sampling and other fun events at its Rhode Island stores.

“Our customers have embraced the marketplace feel, focus on fresh foods, and amazing deals at our rebranded stores,” said Jim Dorey, president of Price Rite Marketplace. “We are excited to bring this streamlined shopping experience to our shoppers in Rhode Island.”

The new concept stores feature a creative design with quality products and deep discounts, including the new Price Rite Marketplace ‘Drop Zone,’ designed as a unique in-store destination where customers can find extraordinary deals, special surprise buys and must-have products typically priced $5 or less.

In addition, Price Rite Marketplace has lowered everyday prices on hundreds of items with its ‘Amazing Value!’ offers across the stores. Customers will discover great weekly deals on their favorite items with new easy-to-find Spot on Savings! signs with easy-to-shop bright red “spots” popping up in every aisle according to a release.
