Carol A. Edwards and Daniel J. Pendergast Jr. were united in marriage August 10, 2011 by Rev. Francis O’Hara at St. Kevin’s Church. A reception followed at the Coast Guard House in Narragansett.

The bride is the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Dorothy Tatro. She is a graduate of Gorton High School and Katharine Gibbs School. She is a retired executive secretary at Nortek Inc. and legal secretary at Edwards.

The groom is the son of the late Daniel J. and Mildred Pendergast Sr. He is a graduate of Gorton High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island. He is a retired financial consultant.

The bride wore a tiered champagne floor-length dress and carried a bouquet of pale yellow roses.

Carrie Fleetwood, granddaughter of the bride, was maid of honor and Susan Ferreira, daughter of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Hannah, Madeline and Danielle Pendergast, granddaughters of the groom.

Daniel J. Pendergast III, son of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Blake Moore, grandson of the groom, Cody Edwards and Eric Edwards, grandsons of the groom. Jordan Edwards, grandson of the bride, and Jack Moore, grandson of the groom, were junior ushers.

Following a wedding trip to Maui and Kauii, Hawaii, the couple reside in Warwick.
