Catherine V. “Kay” Kerrigan, 90, died Monday, February 8, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Kerrigan, Sr., and a daughter of the late George F. and Nora (Sullivan) Wisnom.

She had summered in Matunuck for many years and wintered in Boynton Beach, Florida for 20 years. Kay had worked at the former U.S. Rubber Company in Providence as an executive secretary in her younger years. After raising her family, she worked with the Warwick School Department for 25 years transporting Special Education students. She was a communicant for St. Kevin Church and a member of its Women’s Council.

Kay was the beloved mother of Noreen Kerrigan Rosa, MaryEllen Worrall, John Kerrigan, and the late Michael Kerrigan, Jr. She also leaves fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and is predeceased by her brothers George and Francis Wisnom.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane.
