Charles W. Davis, 67, a retired self-employed auto-mechanic and all-around handyman, passed away on Sunday 2/5/2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Wendy A. (Kelley) Davis for 47 years. Born in Boston, MA. He was a son of the late Clyde N. and Mildred (Turner) Davis Sr. Charles was the loving father of Charles W. Davis III, David A. Davis (Carolyn), and Christina M. Aurelio (Todd). Loving grandfather of Molly Hanoum, Brandon Davis, Julia Davis, and Marcus Aurelio. Loving great-grandfather of Gabriella Carlos. He was the brother of Clyde N. Davis Jr. (Debbie), Gary L. Davis (Patti), and the late Sharon F. Spring. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Charlie loved spending time with his family, barbecuing, and playing horseshoes.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Friday February 10, 2023 at 11 A.M. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, at 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours Thursday February 9, 2023 from 4-7 P.M.
