Members of the Apponaug Babe Ruth Baseball League joined City Council President Steve McAllister and Mayor Frank Picozzi at the Apponaug field Tuesday afternoon. McAllister presented Jason Brouillard and Jamie Rodriguez of the Apponaug Babe Ruth Baseball League with a check for $4,200 for field improvements. The money was taken from federal APRA funding allocated each ward.
