Christopher M. Cahill, 23, of Warwick died Monday at his home. Born and raised in Warwick, he was the son of Michael J. and Michele G. (Gagnon) Cahill. Besides his parents, Chris leaves his son, Jackson M. Cahill of Warwick and his loving partner, Madison Chiovare.
Chris was a doting and proud father to Jackson, and a caring and loyal friend to many.  He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, trail hiking and spending time with his son and family.  He was respected and loved for his kindness and thoughtful and caring ways.  In his younger years, he was athletic, excelling in baseball and running track and cross country. Chris was a route driver at The Falvey Linen Company.  His love of food and cooking came from his Dad and experience and training working at various restaurants including Harbor Lights, T's and Black Oak.
Chris was the maternal grandson of David and Janet Gagnon of Warwick, paternal grandson of Ellen C. Cahill of West Warwick and the late Robert J. Cahill.  He was the nephew of Claudine (Paul) McCluskey, Scott Gagnon, Mark Gagnon,  Laura Cahill, and Mary Ellen Hackett.  He leaves many cousins that he loved including Andrew McCluskey, Scott McCluskey, Allison McCluskey,  Kristina Chilinski and children Benjamin and Matthew, Kate (Adam) Logan and children Nathan, Daniel and Andrew, Robert (Meagen) Chilinski and children, Jonathan, Darren and Madie.  Chris will also be missed by his three beloved cats (Spot, Sonic and Cooper).
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick on Saturday May 21, 2022 at 10 AM. Calling Hours are Friday, 4-8 PM, in the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Make A Wish Foundation will be appreciated. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. www.trainorfh.com.
