Diann L. (Lawton) Cipollone, age 77, of North Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Cipollone.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George H. and Ada F. (George) Lawton, she lived in Warwick before moving to North Kingstown twenty years ago.
She is survived by three daughters, Christine E. “Tina” Eddy, Sheryl A. Dooley, and Sheila M. Johnston, all of Warwick; a brother, Alan Lawton of Warwick; three granddaughters, Kellie Dooley, Jenna Dooley, and Kristine Pontarelli; six great-grandchildren, and a step-son, John J. Pender of Urbana, VA. She was the sister of the late Harold, Donald, George, Robert, Russell, and Richard Lawton, and Cheryal Gannon; and the step-mother of the late Marybeth Pender.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, February 27, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home. 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, February 26, from 3-6 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
