For the first time since 2019, Friends of the Warwick Public Library will host its annual book sale opening to the public this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Friends and non-members paying $10 will get a preview sale from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Paperbacks sell for $1 and hardcovers for $2. CDs and DVDs are $2 and Sunday features a “book grab bag” where people get to take as many books they can stuff in a bag for $5. The Friends use proceeds of the sale to fund purchases for the library. Jana Stevenson, at left, library director said there are “millions” of books since the Friends haven’t been able to hold a sale until now. Helping her set up for the sale Wednesday morning were Cathy Collins, Becky Fischer and Gerry Unger. (Warwick Beacon photo)
