The Bishop Hendricken baseball team picked up a big 1-0 win over defending champion North Kingstown last week to hold onto first place as the playoffs approach. Hendricken ace Alex Clemmey was once again electric on the mound, pitching five shutout innings and racking up 13 strikeouts. The last time these teams squared off was in the state championship last year, when NK walked off the field with a 1-0 decision. Clemmey and the Hawks enter the postseason with the top seed and boast a 17-1 overall record. Here are some photos of the action. (Photos by Leo van Dijk/rhodyphoto.zenfolio.com)
