Sherman School was among the many that had entries in the recent Feinstein Junior School Green Machine Giveaway. Sixth graders Alexis Cameron, Kyla Moore and Jayni Williams, students in the art class of Courtney Dickinson, created a scene using recyclables to get across their message of sustainability. Also working with them but not pictured was Shilah Miller. An Attleboro school won the prize, a hydroponics machine, but as Alexis said the contest was a good way to learn about the environment.
