Following in the footsteps of Rickie Lee Jones and Joni Mitchell, Megan writes jazz-flavored pop that’s dreamy, swinging, and lush. Hear a performance of original tunes with Megan on vocals, piano and guitar, and Mitch on saxophone and flute.
Megan Gilbert is the lead vocalist and songwriter for Providence pop-jazz trio Megan and the Dream Casters. Mitch Kaplan studied with Greg Abate and Mark Earle and has played at the Newport and Kool Jazz Festivals.
