The Fire Department’s Annual Fire Safety Day will be held rain or shine this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station Eight located at 1651 Post Road (adjacent to the Ann & Hope Bargain Outlet).
The day will include a variety of events including the following demonstrations: the laws of the Life/Heavy Duty Rescue, the Warwick Fire Department Dive Team and the Warwick Police Bike Safety Demo. There will be tours of the Fire Safety Trailer and an opportunity to learn CPR.
Free pizza and refreshments will be provided courtesy of Papa Gino’s and Wal-Mart.
Children and parents will be able to enter raffles for a chance to win a number of terrific prizes provided by local businesses. In addition, free Halloween safety gifts for children will be distributed.
Parking is available in front of the Ann & Hope Bargain Outlet located at 1689 Post Road.
