Diane K. Evans, 58, of Warwick passed away peacefully on her 58th birthday, March 27, 2016, Easter Sunday, with her family by her side.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Robert E. and E. Geraldine (Maloney) Evans, she was a lifelong Warwick resident. A graduate of St. Benedict’s School and Pilgrim High School, she worked at the West Shore Health Center and was a popular bartender at Eddies 529 Club. She was a free spirit who enjoyed music, dancing, a beautiful sunset, playing keno and trips to Lincoln.
She leaves a sister, Patti Martin (Jack), and her brothers, Jack (Kathy), Bill (Carol), Paul (Peggy) and Bobby Evans all of Warwick; her uncle, Joseph Maloney and his wife Alice of Rockville, MD. Auntie ‘Didi’ will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins and friends. A special thanks to HHCRI, KCMH Nurses on 3 North and all at the Infusion Center.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick at 11 a.m. Calling Hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
