A parade of six antique fire trucks lead off the Sept. 11 car show held at the imPossible Dream at the Toll Gate educational complex. The annual event is usually held at Sandy Motors in Coventry, but this year imPossible Dream director Dianne Penza said the decision was made to hold it at the site so as to showcase the playground. She called the event that raised about $2,000 the most successful yet. (Warwick Beacon photos)

We need more and more of these types of events. It showcases Warwick in a positive light and as Mayor I will encourage them.
Visitors often become new taxpayers lowering the taxes needed on the rest of us. Parades, expositions, fairs, concerts, and "music-in-the-park" are all great for Warwicks' economy and I encourage them. Warwick should have some "event" every weekend!
Enjoy Autumn everyone.
