McDonnell pitched five innings on Friday against Warwick Vets, allowing just one hit while facing the minimum 15 batters in Pilgrim's 12-0, mercy-rule victory. At the plate, she went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI.
“I think we're definitely playing well,” McDonnell said. “We have great team chemistry this year, and I think we're really motivated to get to RIC at the end of the season.”
