Sharon I. (Dilley) Fielding, 69, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at home with family by her side. She was the wife of Laurence T. Fielding of Warwick, RI. She was born in Kennett Square, PA on July 29, 1954, to the late Cecil Dilley and Lorraine (Brower) Settle. She was the stepdaughter of the late Harvey Settle.

Sharon spent her life dedicated to her family. For 43 years, she stood hand in hand with her devoted husband as they built a life together filled with love, laughter, and enduring commitment. Together, they raised three children and became the proud grandparents seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A woman of immense strength and determination, Sharon's life was a testament to the power of family bonds. Sharon embraced her Native American heritage with pride. She was a skilled artisan, known for her craftsmanship in creating American Indian regalia. Her hands worked with precision, fashioning pieces that spoke of tradition and cultural richness.

She was passionate about reading which was boundless, and her superior reading skills were matched only by her ability to retain and share the knowledge she gained. Sharon's wisdom was a guiding light for her family, offering insight and advice that will resonate for generations to come.

Above all, Sharon's greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. Her nurturing spirit, unconditional love, and generosity created a legacy that will continue to flourish in the hearts of her family.

Sharon’s love will live on in her husband Laurence “Larry” Fielding; her three children: Heather (Billings) Drolet, Lauren Fielding and Joshua Fielding and his wife Lyndsey; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and four siblings: David Dilley, Edward Dilley, Cecil Dilley and Susan Couram, as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Charles Dilley.
