Norm Bouthillier, 48, of Exeter and coach of the Toll Gate High School girls’ cross country and track teams, runs along the Rocky Point waterfront Saturday’s 3.1-mile race sponsored by the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce. Boutthillier, who is well-known throughout New England road running and marathon circles, will go down in the Rocky Point 5K Road Race history book as the winner. He covered what he described as a “fair course with some killer hills at the start and finish” in 18 minutes and five seconds. Warwick’s Robert Corsi was second in a time of 18:09.
