Louise Vadeboncoeur and her husband moved to Belize after retirement so as to stretch their retirement funds and enjoy the weather and the sea. They have a condo on the water and found, as their research showed, that the cost of living is, indeed, lower than here. But it comes with drawbacks including a lack of things and a clunky banking system. Louise was back in Warwick last week to visit her daughter and son in-law Lauren and James Whatmough and her grandson Connor who live in Warwick. A member of a Rotary Club in Belize she stopped in for lunch at the Warwick Club for lunch Thursday where she exchanged club flags with Warwick club president Scott Seaback. (Warwick beacon photo)
