Carol D. (Peck) Gallagher 78, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary (Kyle) Peck.

Carol was a beacon of strength, love and resilience, who single-handedly raised two wonderful boys into successful men. Her love for her family was boundless, and her spirit was as vibrant as the sun. Carol found joy in the everyday moments in life. She always reminisced about Sunday family dinners on Comstock Parkway where the house was filled with love and laughter. She enjoyed vacationing with her friends and family, with Orange Lake being her favorite getaway. The memories created there, under the warm sun and amidst the laughter of loved ones, were some of her most cherished memories. But the true loves of her life were her grandchildren. She was their biggest cheerleader, their most enthusiastic supporter, and their most loving Gammy. She never missed any of their many sporting events, always there on the sidelines, cheering them on with a smile. Her love for her family was immeasurable, her spirit was infectious, and her strength was inspiring. She was a woman of grace, of resilience, and unwavering love. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those that loved her.

She was the loving mother of David Gallagher and his wife Amy, and Frank Gallagher and his wife Jennifer. She was the adoring Gammy of Colin, Dylan, Sean, and Megan Gallagher. She was the sister of Mary Jane McFetter, Russell Peck, and the late Kathleen “Kay” Tenk and Joan Csanadi.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday December 1, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Visitation will be Thursday November 30, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
