That’s the way Becca Verruso feels about her native Warwick and the always-colorful Gaspee Days celebration. “I’m the only person in my family who was born in Warwick,” said Verruso, who got the unique tattoo on her left forearm last December. “I lived in Gaspee [Plateau] and I’ve wanted Gaspee with me at all times.” Verruso, who now lives in Coventry and is a sales associate at Best Buy in Warwick, is a 2007 graduate of Pilgrim High School. She dabbles in all types of photography and “loved living in Gaspee.” When asked what her favorite celebration is, she quickly replied, “Gaspee Days, of course. I go there every year and take lots of pictures, too.”
