Gerald F. Procaccini, 92, of Sherwood Valley Lane in Coventry died Saturday at his home. He was the husband of the late Alma F. (Danella) Procaccini.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Antonio and Concetta (DeLuca) Procaccini, he had lived in Warwick for most of his life before moving to Coventry five years ago. Mr. Procaccini was a salesman for the W.H. Williams Company for thirty-three years before retiring in 1983. He also worked as a quality control officer for Astro-Med and worked for American Payroll. He was an active member of the Warwick Knights of Columbus Council No.2295 where he was a Past Grand Knight, Past District Deputy and Financial Secretary. He was also a fourth Degree member of the Fr. Wallace Assembly. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He leaves a daughter, Phyllis A. Fiske and her husband, Earl of Coventry; a granddaughter, Alexandrea Gonzalez of Pawtucket and a sister, Mary Stebenne of Providence.
His funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Calling Hours Wednesday 5-7 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. www.trainorfh.com
