The GFWC (General Federation of Women's Clubs) continues to have virtual monthly meetings and continues to support the community. The club is supporting the Elizabeth Buffum Chase Center during October which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

During this pandemic, the club has limited social activities in accordance with government rules. The Warwick Women's Club is a civic/community-minded club which provides funds for local organizations such as the EBCC and provides services and support for organizations such as the Norwood Boys and Girls Club, Mentor RI, Project Undercover, FRIENDS WAY, and House of Hope. There are other activities the club is involved in throughout the year including Pinwheels for Prevention of Child Abuse, thank you cards and Valentine cards for veterans, and activities relating to domestic abuse. Anyone wishing to learn more about the club are welcome to join a Zoom meeting by calling Carol at 738-1279 who can add you the Zoom email list. For further information about this organization, please visit the club website www.gfwcri.org.
