The Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England’s sixth annual Cookies & Cocktails held March 10 at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick was the most successful event yet. Guests heard from emcee, Mario Hilario and special Girl Scout speaker, Veronica Wathen. Attendees enjoyed desserts from local restaurants, participated in silent and live auctions, and a live recipe demonstration from Chef Frank Terranova.
Attendees were enjoyed innovative cookie themed desserts while learning how they can support girls in the community and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. “This support helps to ensure that all girls, regardless of circumstance have access to all the amazing opportunities that Girl Scouts has to offer,” said GSSNE COO, Ginger Lallo.
The Girl Scouts partnered with Bettola, Boat House, Hemenway’s, Knead Doughnuts, Iron Works, Res American Bistro, and Sin Desserts.
Events like Cookies & Cocktails enable Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England to continue providing amazing girl-led experiences to Girl Scouts who are growing through the mission of becoming girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. With the help of event sponsors, silent auction donors, silent auction & live auction purchasers, the event raised $36,000.
