Warwick resident Jeff Martin spent last week teeing it up alongside the best golfers in the world as he participated in the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y. Martin, the head pro at Norton (Mass.) Country Club and a former pro at Warwick Country Club, qualified for one of the 20 spots annually reserved for club pros in the PGA field. Making his third appearance in the event, Martin shot an eight-over 78 in each of the first two rounds and did not make the cut. None of the 20 club pros made the cut. Martin is pictured behind the Wanamaker Trophy, in blue.
