Gotta Have Sole Foundation’s SOLEdiers program, a special footwear program honoring veterans, is proud to support Operation Stand Down RI during their Stand Down Weekend, Sept. 20-22, at Diamond Hill State Park in Cumberland.
The Cranston-based non-profit will be donating a $25 gift card to footwear stores to participating veterans so they can purchase the footwear they need.
Operation Stand Down Rhode Island combats homelessness among veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces by providing housing, educational and financial resources, and connecting them with vital human resources and social services.
Gotta Have Sole is asking for support through the contribution of $1,000 or more “so we can honor the valiant men and women who fought so hard to preserve our freedom.” Contributions will be publicized on all Gotta Have Sole publicity materials, as well as its website, www.gottahavesole.org, and all social media outlets.
Gotta Have Sole Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
