Thomas George Gregelevich, 75, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Kent Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Norma C. Gregelevich for 52 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas G. and Louise (Cornell) Gregelevich.
Thomas proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and went on to work as a Firefighter for T.F. Green Airport in Warwick for thirty-one years. Following his retirement from the airport, he continued to work as a RIde Bus Driver for eight years. In his free time, Thomas enjoyed creating Native American jewelry and crafts, and had previously served as the Assistant District Boy Scout Commissioner.
Alongside his wife Norma, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Tanya Tillinghast (Gerald, Jr.) of Warwick, his siblings, Errol Gregelevich of Warwick, Carol Gregelevich of Johnston, and Christine Diniz (Arnold) of Rehoboth, MA, his grandchildren, Nicholas Tillinghast, Symantha Tillinghast, Kendra Ferguson (Nicholas), and Carissa Tillinghast, and his great-grandchildren, Amelia Tillinghast, Lillian Ferguson, and Cali Ferguson.
Thomas was the brother of the late Christopher Gregelevich.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
