Bishop Hendricken opened the outdoor track season with victories over Classical, Hope and Cranston East on Monday afternoon. The Hawks had no trouble with Hope or East but got a good challenge from Classical, one of the top teams in the state. The Hawks beat the Purple 100-54. Leading the way for Hendricken was junior Lee Moses, who won the 100, the 200 and the long jump. Jared Boulanger added a first place in the 800, Colin Tierney won the 1,500, Dom Parlato took the 3,000, Ben Murphy won the high jump, Alex Cerbo won the shot put and Chris Duxbury won the javelin.
