West Bay Chorale presented its spring concert, Earth and Sky, Sunday at St. Kevin Church featuring such musical selections as “Sisi Ni Moja,” “The Heavens are Telling,” “Earth Song” and a reimagined version of “Morning Has Broken” by Shawn Kirschner. Continuing its mission, the chorale accepted donations at the door to support Community MusicWorks in Providence. While the chorale that recently celebrated its 40th anniversary will take the summer off, it will participate in the Ecumenical Service as part of Gaspee Day Celebrations, Saturday, June 10 at a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Pawtuxet. The fall session begins with open rehearsals in September. The West Bay Chorale is an intergenerational chorus that provides the community with performances both secular and sacred. For additional information visit the West Bay Chorale Facebook page, website or email info@westbaychorale.org. Pictured conducting is Eric W. Van Dervort, artistic director and chorale members performing. (Warwick Beacon photos)
