The Troop Support Task Force of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors will hold a Veteran Specific Home Buying seminar for active and retired military April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the RI National Guard Armory on Airport Road. The seminar will cover first-time and subsequent use VA loans.
Participants will learn how to acquire their VA eligibility certificate, what certificate means, and their entitlements as a veteran or active duty member in the home buying process. They will also learn about funding fees, the mortgage process, how to hire a realtor and the homebuying process from the search process to the closing table.
