Those who remember the late City Solicitor John Earle and his efforts to assist the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center gathered at a cocktail reception Monday at Café Fresco. The event hosted by Mayor Scott Avedisian and a group of community leaders raised more than $6,000 for an advocacy fund established in John’s name to assist victims of domestic violence and their children. Here, Judith Earle, John’s widow and executive director of the EBC Center, and office manager Joyce Rose talk with Edward and Marion Silberman. The Silbermans, who recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary, are Earle’s parents.
