Horst J. “John” Hindinger, age 81, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mildred C. (McGregor) Hindinger.
Born in Augsburg, Germany, a son of the late Josef and Maria (Niggel) Hindinger, he lived in Warwick since 1963. Mr. Hindinger was employed as a machinist / toolmaker at G.B. Tool Co. in Warwick for 25 years before retiring in 2008. He earlier worked at Leesona Corporation in Warwick.
He is survived by his beloved partner of 25 years, Annette Bicho; a son, Eric Hindinger (Kerri); a daughter, Roberta Drew (Thomas); Annette’s children, Christopher Bicho (Rebecca) and Michael Bicho (Erin); a sister, Rosa Arnold; and a niece, Ingrid Brearley. He was “Opa” to Emma, John and Will Hindinger, Christine Drew Yost (Brandon), Cole, Kyle, Gavin, Julia and John Bicho. He was the brother of the late Erwin Hindinger and Elisabeth Ottl.
A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later time.
