By definition, the word “Infinity” means “something that is unlimited, endless and without bound.”  It is only fitting then that the name of the wellness studio owned by longtime instructor and athletic coach Jennifer Mello is “Infinity Fitness” for this definition describes both Jennifer and her studio to a “T”.  To Mello, who also adds the titles of personal trainer, Physical Therapist, and Massage Therapist to her lengthy resume, the importance of maintaining one’s health and well-being is never-ending, it is relentless, it lasts for infinity!

It is Mello’s lifelong, boundless pursuit of health ~ mental, emotional, social, and physical health ~ that compelled her to make a career of helping others achieve a fulfilling life in all these areas.  When her own health was severely derailed after an accident several years ago, Mello witnessed first- hand the struggles that many of her clients endure.  She became lethargic, gained weight, couldn’t pull herself out of a state of malaise that robbed her of the very thing she valued the most, her health and that of her loyal clients.  The coach became the student, and priceless lessons were learned.

Today, Jennifer Mello is the busy owner of Infinity Fitness on Post Road.  In truth, Mello has owned fitness studios for over 22 years; it was only recently that she relocated Infinity Fitness from its former site in Cranston to this new, state-of-the-art facility in Warwick.

Though a modest building from the outside, the gym and its adjacent wellness center take up a roomy 3200 square feet.  This provides ample space for a fully-equipped workout center ~ complete with everything needed for group classes, personal training and functional training (including spin bikes, weights, boxing bags, various stability balls, and the newest mini-trampolines) as well as an area dedicated to Yoga, Zumba and Pilates classes, a massage therapy room and a place for life coach Marissa Bain to work with those seeking balance in their lives. As Mello calls Infinity Fitness, this is a “one stop destination” for healthy living.

What sets this fitness center apart from its competitors has everything to do with the philosophy of Mello who believes in the importance of seeing her clients as complete individuals.  All of her workouts are highly individualized and easy to modify; all of her classes are small and her approach is success-oriented.

Mello has even created her own line of high protein snacks which she sells at the studio.  Inspired by her grandmother, “Dottie’s Delights” includes homemade muffins, cookies and snack packs!

This winter, Mello is kicking off an exciting challenge called “Ignite the Spark in YOU in 2022.”  Come to the gym this Saturday at 8:00am to feel inspired, motivated, and renewed.

Infinity Fitness is located at 1201 Post Road.  Call 401-265-9499 to speak with Jennifer in person.  The center is open seven days a week.  Find them on Facebook, Instagram or online at www.InfinityFitnessRI.com for more information.
