Invitation to Bid


Invitation to Bid on Replacement of Heating Equipment project for House of Hope CDC (HOHCDC). HOHCDC is seeking bids for the project that consists of removal of existing equipment for building heat and domestic hot water and installation of new high efficiency boilers and associated pumps, control systems, and piping at 57 Fair Street Warwick RI.

Bids must be received at HOHCDC offices at 3188 Post Road Warwick RI 02886 by 12:00 PM on Tuesday November 22nd, 2022. Opening of bids will follow and bid results will be available by email if requested.

Bids must be sealed and properly labeled. Emailed, faxed or unsealed bids will not be accepted.  Bids are to be mailed or delivered to Taylor Ellis, House of Hope CDC, 3188 Post Road Warwick RI 02886 and labeled: Bid for HOHCDC Heating Equipment project.

This is a Federally Funded project. The contractor and subcontractors on this project must comply with HUD contract provisions 2 CFR 200, Non-Discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act, and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents. Contractor shall be paid for completion of the work in accordance with the contract documents and funding requirements from a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

House of Hope CDC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal. Bidders must be properly certified under the laws governing their respective trades and be properly insured.
