In the wake of a winter that put the freeze on construction, Cardi Corporation is in high gear on the replacement Mill Creek Bridge on Tidewater Drive. According to a supervisor on scene last week, the remnants of the old bridge are being hammered out, pilings have been driven and a sleeve allowing for a future sewer line will be installed shortly. While the winter weather put the work behind, the construction company aims to make up for lost time and open a new bridge on schedule early this summer. (Warwick Beacon photo)
