Veterans Middle School student vocal soloists will be perform jazz and pop standards with the Newport-based Larry Brown Swinglane Orchestra Monday, May 22 at 6 p.m. at the Warwick Vets Middle School auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public. Swinglane is a 19-piece jazz orchestra that performs regularly in southern Rhode Island. Songs for the evening include arrangements of Earth Wind and Fire’s September, Fly Me to the Moon and Cyndi Lauper’s Time after Time to name a few. George Landie directs the Warwick group.
