Joan E. (Hartington) McAloon, age 81, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. McAloon.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George A. and Madeline (Rail) Hartington, she was a life-long Warwick resident.
Mrs. McAloon was employed as a certified nursing assistant at West Shore Health Center for 26 years before her retirement.
She is survived by five daughters, Robin A. Sweeney, Janice M. Rodrigues, Lori A. Forlini, Anne Marie Santilli, all of Warwick, and Bria A. McAloon of Woonsocket; and a son, Timothy M. McAloon of Warwick. She was the mother of the late Thomas M. McAloon. She is also survived by several siblings.
She was the grandmother of nine and the great-grandmother of four. Her funeral services will be private.
