Joseph Parisi Jr., 73 of Warwick passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 14, 2021. A devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he was the cherished husband and soulmate of Linda (Petrozzi) Parisi for 50 years. Born in Fall River MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Soldano) Parisi, and brother of Anthony Parisi.

Joe attended East Providence High School and graduated from Providence College. During his college years, he joyfully played drums for 2 college rock bands. In 2015 he was inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame. Joe enjoyed a varied career in advertising and sales, retiring from the former Park Ave. Cement Block Company.

He was a passionate, loving, dedicated, and proud father to his adoring children, one daughter, Tara Parisi Van Tassel, and her husband Clay, and one son, Joseph “Chip” Parisi, III. Joe was truly amazing, the epitome of a family man, and always there for everyone, especially his cherished grandchildren, Casey and Connor Van Tassel.
