To the Editor:
This holiday season we are being presented with a variety of serious needs from home and abroad. The devastation in the Philippines and the aftermath of wildfires, floods and windstorms in the U.S. shows all of us how fragile we are when confronted with the destructive forces of nature.
In the past, we have responded generously but today with all the uncertainty, we may find it difficult to assist. The need is great and any means you can afford from your current resources will be gratefully received by those who suffer from these dilemmas.
By assisting those in need, your holidays will certainly have peace and joy knowing that others will receive your gifts with sincere appreciation for your thoughtful response.
